Arrived at 9am on a sunday and parking lot was half full. The trail heads west from the artist point parking lot, skirting the lava walls at the base of table mountain. Artist ridge trail 669, chain lakes trail 682, ptarmigan ridge trail 682.1, table mountain trail 681, and one climb, park glacier climbing route.
We continued to huntoon point from artist point through the artist ridge trail and it made this whole hike so much better. Table mountain 3 miles round trip with 560 feet of elevation gain, 5,700 ft high point. Artist point is also a geologist's dream.
